Footgolf

Ready to try something new?

What is it?

FootGolf is the combination of golf and soccer played at your local golf course. It is played by kicking a soccer ball on a golf course with the objective of getting the ball into an oversized (21-inch diameter) hole in the fewest amount of kicks. It’s 99% golf minus the equipment.

What about equipment?

Bring your own soccer ball. A #5 for adults and #3 or#4 for juniors.  Wear turf shoes, athletic shoes, or indoor soccer shoes.  NO SOCCER CLEATS ALLOWED. Dress in golf clothes or comfortable athletic wear.  Shirts are to be worn at all times while playing.

Who can play?

Anyone can do it! There is no age restriction as long as your group keeps the pace of play at a good rate for the other golfers. Players 10 and under must be supervised by a player or non-playing adult 18 years old or older. You just have to be able to kick a ball. It is fun for the whole family!

It can also be used as a social or team building experience or for fundraiser or charity outings. Plan on about 2 hours for an 18-hole course, but the length of time varies by group. It is for both recreational players and competitive players.
