The entire City of Ashland is designated as an enterprise zone.  An EZ offers tax abatements on new real and personal property taxes to businesses who are creating and/or retaining jobs.

The City of Ashland also offers a Community Reinvestment Area Program.  This program offers up to 100% abatement of real property taxes for a period of up to 15 years on new industrial structures.

The City of Ashland and Ashland County have monies to make available for very low interest loans to local businesses for investments in land/buildings and/or machinery and equipment.
