NOTICE
The City of Ashland has an opening
for a Maintenance
Supervisor, Division of Water Pollution and Water Treatment,
Bruce Wiser, Director.
Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising
and assisting personnel engaged in skilled mechanical maintenance and
repair work on water treatment and water pollution control plants;
maintaining inventory of spare parts; preparing and maintaining records
and reports.
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education (high school or GED), plus four (4)
years maintenance experience as a lead worker, or equivalent
combination of training and/or similar industrial maintenance
experience; water and wastewater operations and maintenance experience
is preferred. Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver’s
license, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred, and be able
to qualify for and remain insurable under the City's vehicle insurance
policy. Must have the ability to achieve a Class I Operator’s
License and become qualified as an OSHA 10-Hour trainer within the
first 18 months of employment. Must have the ability to access
plant equipment/machinery, provide safety and job training, use
necessary computer programs to generate reports, and lift and move up
to fifty (50) pounds.
Pay
range is $11.00 - $20.00 per hour.
