The City of Ashland is accepting
applications for Traffic
Technician I, Division of Street, Jerry Mack, Director.
Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning to
maintain City traffic control signs and street markers and painting
traffic control strips and markings on City streets and parking lots.
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education or GED, and interest in and ability
to learn the sign production and painting profession. Must possess a
valid State of Ohio driver's license and be able to qualify for
and remain insurable under the City's vehicle insurance policy; must be
able to work under adverse weather conditions; must be able to lift up
to fifty (50) pounds and move up to eighty (80) pounds with assistance.
Pay
range is $8.00 – $9.99 per hour.
