Ashland Police Division

Investigation Bureau

The Investigation (Detective) Bureau within the Police Division is responsible for investigative follow-up of crime occurring in the City of Ashland.  Currently, six officers are assigned to the Bureau.  Their responsibilities include: 

	Investigation of crime reported to the Police Division
	Crime scene investigation
	Interviewing of witnesses, victims and suspects
	Working closely with other law enforcement agencies and Prosecutors
	Testimony in various courts
