The Probation Department consists of a Chief Probation Officer, three full time and one part time probation officers. Additionally, two Deputy Clerk/Bailiffs are assigned to support the department's caseload.
As of March 2 ,2005, the probation department was responsible for 2,095 cases. Each probation officer is responsible for his/her own caseload and the supervision of those on probation. This supervision consists primarily of monthly meetings with the individuals, conducting random alcohol and drug tests, and ensuring the orders of the court are completed.
