Rake leaves to the curb or berm prior to 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day
Leaves should be brought to the curb or berm, not in the street or ditches; leaves placed in the street or ditches cause storm sewers to clog and create traffic hazards
Place leaves at least 3 feet away from obstructions, such as trees, signs, and fire hydrants
Park vehicles away from your leaf piles
Ensure no rocks, branches, yard waste, or other debris are included in leaf piles

Other Yard Disposal Options

For additional yard waste items - such as grass, flowers, mulch, twigs, or brush trimmings - there are two disposal options:

Place yard waste in a paper yard waste bag with a yard waste sticker and call the City Services Department at 419-289-9791 to schedule a pickup
Drop off yard waste bags at the Sanitation Department, 1674 Cleveland Ave, any weekday between 8:00am and 3:00pm
