Guidelines

• Rake leaves to the curb or berm prior to 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day

• Leaves should be brought to the curb or berm, not in the street or ditches; leaves placed in the street or ditches cause storm sewers to clog and create traffic hazards

• Place leaves at least 3 feet away from obstructions, such as trees, signs, and fire hydrants

• Park vehicles away from your leaf piles

• Ensure no rocks, branches, yard waste or other debris are included in leaf piles

Other Yard Disposal Options

For additional yard waste items - such as grass, flowers, mulch, twigs, or brush trimmings - there are two disposal options:

• Place yard waste in a paper yard waste bag with a yard waste sticker and call the City Services Department at 419-289-9791 to schedule a pickup

• Drop off yard waste bags at the Sanitation Department, 1674 Cleveland Ave, any weekday between 8:00am and 3:00pm
