Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission (the Commission) consists of three members appointed by the Mayor to serve six year terms. The Director of Human Resources (HR) serves as the Administrative Secretary for the commission while employed with the City. The commission is responsible for maintaining and enforcing the Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The commission hears appeals regarding implementation of any Civil Service laws and regulations.
