2018 Fall Hiking Spree

Let's Get Hiking!

The Ashland County Park District, City of Ashland Parks and Recreation Department, and D-R Services, Inc. welcome you to participate in the 2018 Fall Hiking Spree! Complete six of the hikes listed below (on your own) between September 1 and November 30 to earn a free hiking shield.

*These multi-use parks will be closed during deer-gun season. Check website and/or kiosk.

**All hunting parks will be open to hiking Sunday afternoons only (noon until closing), from October 15 to December 31. They will also be closed on the following dates for hunting: October 6 and 7, October 20-26, November 17 and 18, November 26-Decmber 2, and December 15 and 16. For your safety, we recommend that hikers wear hunter/fluorescent orange when hiking on Sundays in October and November.

Perimeter Trail. Access from Bank St., East off Sloan. Dead ends into driveway of Old Siler House. Park near house and go east on grass trail which leads to other trails.

Audubon Wetlands Preserve*

Meadowview Trail. From parking lot, go straight past pond. Trail veers to left.
