COMMUNITY DOG PARK
No animals other than dogs are permitted in the dog park. This dog park is designated for the use of people and their dogs. No other animals are allowed.
No dogs less than four (4) months of age are permitted in the dog park.
Children under twelve (12) must be closely supervised at all times by an adult. It is strongly urged that young children not be brought to the dog park for their safety. No food or treats (human or dog), alcoholic beverages, strollers, bicycles, or toys (human or dog) allowed in the dog park.
Not more than three (3) beings per handler allowed (dogs and/or small children).
Dog waste must be cleaned up by dog owners and place in proper receptacles.
All dogs must be legally licensed and vaccinated and shall wear a visible dog license and identification.
Dog owners must be in the dog park and within view and voice control of their dog at all times.
Aggressive dogs are prohibited from the dog park and dogs deemed aggressive, by the dog warden or by the Ohio Revised Code, must be removed from the dog park immediately without debate. Aggression is defined as hostile or destructive behavior.
Dogs must be under control by their owners/handlers at all times outside of the fenced dog park in accordance with chapter 505.01.
Owners/handlers must stop their dogs from digging and immediately fill any holes dug.
Dog owners are solely liable for injuries or damage caused by their dog and ensuring that their dogs don't escape the fenced area.
First time dog park users should consider visiting the dog park during non-peak times.
Smoking is prohibited within the dog park.
The dog park closes 30 minutes after dusk.
No attendant on duty. Users of this dog park do so at their own risk. Ashland City Parks and Recreation shall not be liable for injuries to dogs, their owners/handlers, or others that use the dog park. This dog park is for dogs and their owners/handlers only. The owner is 100% responsible for an injuries inflicted by their dog. Dog owners are legally and financially responsible for their dog's behavior.
