Detective Bureau

The Detective Bureau primarily focuses on investigating crimes that occur within the city limits. The goal is to complete an investigation and submit the case for prosecution. Our detectives are responsible for investigating crimes related to drug and human trafficking and possession of illegal narcotics, child endangerment, theft and murders. To successfully investigate a case the officers must:

 

Process Crime Scenes
Interview Victims, Witnesses, & Suspects
Submit Reports to the Prosecutor's /Law Director's Office

Photograph & Collect Evidence
Complete a  Detailed Report Outlining the Case Facts 
Testify in Court

 Our Detective Bureau is associated with the METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit, and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
