Sign up for emergency and tornado warning notifications through the Ashland County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency's WENS (Wireless Emergency Notification System) for Ashland County. This notification is for anyone in Ashland County, Ohio, including residents of the City of Ashland.
When registering for the WENS notifications, First and Last name will be required in addition to either a phone number or email address where you wish to receive the notifications. The phone number will also give the option to register for voice or text. Multiple phone numbers or email addresses may be entered.
This is a free service provided by Ashland County, however, normal message fees may apply. To receive text messages to your cell phone, your cell phone must have text messaging capabilities. If you wish to receive both text and voice alerts, enter your cell phone number twice selecting the “text” option first and the “voice” option second.
Notifications are dependent upon external providers (phone carrier, cell phone, email). Ashland County cannot guarantee notifications will be received by the intended recipient. By registering below, you will not receive unsolicited calls, and neither Ashland County nor its system vendor sells the contact number database.
